 A PhD Student Position in Optoelectronic System for High Capacity Data Storage at the Centre for Micro-photonics, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia （澳大利亚斯威本科技大学）
The Centre for Micro-photonics, School of Physics, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology at Swinburne University of Technology invites applications for one full-time PhD student positions in the project of “Optoelectronic System for High Capacity Data Storage”.
To be eligible, candidates should have outstanding educational qualifications, proficiency in written and spoken English (international students with IETLS test score above 6 in each band), good communication skills and collaborative spirit. The candidate is expected to have background in optical engineering, precision instrument and machinery, or electronic and information technology. Candidate with experience about optical drive is highly preferred. The candidate should have good knowledge about LABVIEW or MATLAB.
The PhD position corresponds to 36 months full time work in the project. The candidate can apply for Scholarships including CRS, VCIS, APA, SUPRA, IPRS and TFS. The deadline for submission is 30 May, 2014 for the mid-year round and 31 Oct, 2014 for the main round.
